Care Provided
Diabetic Care
The community can help residents monitor their blood sugar but cannot give insulin injections.
Memory Care Offered
Silver Light Care employs technology to prevent residents from wandering and becoming lost, for example, door, window, and gate alarms that will ring if the resident leaves the community. Our memory care section accepts residents with behavior issues. We also accept residents who are at an elopement risk. We provide needed levels of care allowing residents to remain in the community while receiving increasing care.
Incontinence Care
It is preferable that incontinent residents be able to manage incontinence themselves. Due to changing condition of the residents, the staff at Silver Light Care will remind incontinent residents to use the restroom or shower. If the condition progresses such that the patient becomes non-ambulatory or bed-bound then the staff at Silver Light Care will gladly help the resident with their activities and hygiene.
Non-Ambulatory Care
At Silver Light Care we are equipped to use mechanical lifts to transfer residents who need help moving around, for example, from a bed into a wheelchair.
